Carl celebrated his 75th Birthday on at The Ivy Club on 2 November 2011. It was a roaring success and we all joined together to wish him a very happy birthday.

Carl recording the 'Hollywood, Broadway, West End' album at Abbey Road Studios in June 2010 with the BBC Concert Orchestra. The album features Carl's specially commissioned arrangements of many of the Broadway, Hollywood and West End standards including Carl's theme to the popular TV Series Hollywood, New York New York, an orchestral arrangement of Heifetz's Porgy and Bess Suite, with Matthew Trusler.
